Today in Current World Issues we talked about assigned blogs. One assigned blog must be completed by the end of the week on Sunday at 11:59. For this week’s blog, we are supposed to find an interesting current news story dealing with social, economical or political topics on the internet and discuss our opinions about it. These assigned blogs are worth 20 points every week and must meet certain requirements. At the beginning of each week on Mondays, we will have blog discussions in class where we will explain to Mr. Bruns and the class about our current event and our thoughts or opinions about it. These discussions will also be worth 20 points giving the total assignment 40 points possible. Mr. Bruns also talked to us about the consequences of plagiarism and also how to add pictures, videos, and hyperlinks to our assigned blogs which are required to receive an acceptable grade.
