Today in class we got informed about a lot of things on the website. I didn’t write my reflective blog in class because I wanted to be able to listen to all of the new info. Mr. Bruns will assign weekly blogs about a certain topic (although some you may choose on your own) which will be due every Sunday night at 11:59. The weekly blog needs to have good grammar and be on a appropriate topic. Each one of them is worth 40 points. Every Monday we will have blog discussions and go over what we wrote our blog on. We need to make sure that when we share our blogs that we summarize them instead of just reading it word by word to the class.One of the other topics we talked about today was plagiarizing and the fact that it’s extremely bad to do. It is very easy for Mr. Bruns to find out if we plagiarized on any of our work. Even if it isn’t copied word by word it can still be plagiarism. It is highly recommended that we make sure everything that we write is entirely in our own words. If it’s copy and pasted we will receive a zero and a detention.We also learned about adding pictures, videos, and hyperlinks to our blogs. Doing this will gave us better grade and just makes the blog look way better.
