Today we talked more about how to blog; for example typing it in word first. We talk about assigned blogs. They are due at 11:59 Sunday night before the next week. You can do them anytime during the week. The assigned blog this week is to pick any current event and summarize it, giving your opinion and thoughts on it. Online articles are easier because you can hyperlink them. It is worth 20 points. Another part of the points is talking about your article on the following Monday. Each blog is worth 40 points. You have to have two pictures or video clip. We also talked about how the assignment blogs are graded. Don’t plagiarize! When we were done with the rubric we talked about how to insert a picture or a video clip in the blog. This week you only need one source but usually you need two.To make a hyperlink you go to that page and then you copy the URL and then paste it in the blog. You can also type your Key words and then highlight it and click on the hyperlink icon. To add a picture you click on the camera function, copy the picture URL and paste it in the box and put it in your blog. It will show up as mumbo jumbo, but when you publish it will become a picture. For videos you can go to Youtube, copy the embed code and paste it in your blog.Every week you have 3 things, assignment blog, daily reflective blog and message board posts. You need five posts per week that are each two points
