Today we went over our assigned weekly blogs. All weekly blogs are due at 11:59p.m. on Sunday. The weekly blogs must be about something that happened that week. Our blogs are worth 20 points and our discussion on Mondays are worth 20 points. We CANNOT copy and paste information from other websites. If you do you'll get a 0 and detention. We need to have two pictures or a video. We also learned how to add pictures and add hyperlinks. We can also check Mr. Bruns's twitter. Going to the CWI page can also help us remember/find out what we learned today. If we want to do good write ups hyperlinks are wonderful. Uploading pictures to the blog it like uploading pictures to Facebook or Myspace. We can browse for pictures we already have saved on the computer, or we can copy a URL. Once we publish the blog the URL will become the picture. To post the video we need to Embed it. Youtube has a place for it, as does lots of other video websites. When we title our blogs our titles should be creative and relate to the subject we are blogging about. We also need to do 5 message board posts a week. Each message board post is worth 2 points each. They must be at least a sentence in length and be meaningful. "Cool" & "Yes!" won't count.
