Today in class we started with a WTL quiz over the causes of the stock market crash and Great Depression. We then talked about the causes AGAIN. We then discussed some more on the project which is due Tuesday. I have the Federal Housing Administration and the movies in the 1920’s. The blog for this week is over one of the things we are researching.We then did blog discussion. FDIC protected your money in the bank. The New Deal was Roosevelt’s plan to get us out of the depression by helping business regulations and inflation. Indian Reorganization Act set up reservations and helped rid of the boarding schools to help them. The government would pay farmers to plant less. The social security act helped disabled and retired people. The CCC helped people somewhere to work to help with conservation and got free room and board. The three R’s were relief reform and recovery. Eleanor Roosevelt was married to the president (her fifth cousin).
