Today we had another little quiz. The questions on the quiz were, name three causes of the stock market crash, the second question was name three causes of the Great Depression. Mr. Bruns gave us our other project topic. My second one is The Hundred Days. Mr. Bruns also told the new students that their blogs and projects need to be at the top of their page so they are easy to get to.The questions we should answer in our power point for our project are...What year was your act passed?What did it specifically do/give?Was it successful overall?Is it still around today?Mr. Bruns reminded us not to read off our power points and to have short bullets. If you have long and lengthy bullets you are more likely to read straight off the power point. Don't talk too fast, and talk loud and clear enough for everyone to hear. Our Project is worth 100 points. Our content is worth 30 points. Visuals are worth 20 points. Body language, eye contact, posture and body movement are worth 20 points. Voice quality is worth 10 points. How/if you incorporate technology is worth 10 points. How/if your presentation is creative is worth 5 points. How/if you get the audience involved is worth 5 points. We didn't get to our blog discussions today, so we will do them tomorrow. We will try to get them done fast, so we can have a work day tomorrow. Thursday and Friday are both work days.
