Today we are watching a video and we are looking for the answer of what made the 20's "roaring". Let's see the auto mobile was invested by Henry Ford. could buy in every color as long as it was black. the car changed the nature of dating and like everything. it led to things such as drive through movies. drive through restaurants and other stuff like banks and such. woman lives were changing fast. they got the right to vote and work normal jobs. most were going to high school and college graduating and such. were engaged in sports activities and increasingly throwing off the restraints of the century. electricity enabled you to buy all kinds of things. such as lights stoves toasters and other junk. the advertising came out massively in this era through magazines directed towards woman middle class high class and such like that also through the radio through the streams or whatever. They also learned how to kiss. ewwy kuddies haha. Movies were like the most influational thing in the 20s because like it showed people driving expensive cars and making people look stronger then ever and just stupid stuff ha. Negro was a name giving for the African American city dwellers. The Negro's played jazz music. which was quite good music played by the colored people in illegal bars where they could drink forbidden bootlegger drinks at the cotton club. Probhibiton was when they took away all alcohol usage. this is were bootleggers came into play and made alcohol such as moonshine and other pure alcohols. KKK also were people who wanted to get rid of every one unless they were the same color as the kkk. they wore white suits with a red patch on them signifying that they mess stuff up. and punish all of the different races.Today, I learned about the movies were one of the more important things of the 20s because it put a whole new perspective on a lot of things. Learned about the Bars that the negro's were allowed to play in where they also sold bootlegger alcohol and stuff like that. Also learned that the U.S was becoming of people of law breakers. Their were more then 5 million KKK members.
