What made the 1920:s Roaring? Well you see many things made the 1920's roaring. One big thing was the automobile. The modle T was a very important thing in these times. The modle T was afordable and the workers at the assembaly line were earning $5 an hour. Buy now pay later was becoming an ever increasing way of paying for objects.During this time many people moved to the city. Cities were begining to grow with houses, banks, and theaters. In 1920 the 19th admendment was passed witch alowed women to vote. Women also began to engage in sports and other activites. More woman were starting to going to college.Electricty was also important in this time because it lead to new household appliances. Advertising became a big deal. Advertising told people that their product would make their life better.Womans clothing was becoming ever more popular in this time period. They stated to wear more loose clothing and also drank alchol and smoked in public areas. Movies also were new to people at this time. Movies lead people on adventures. The movies influenced people to new things they didnt know about before.Jazz was the most popular kind of music at this time. Jazz origionated in New Orleans and soon spread throughout the United States. Many Jazz musicians became famous while Jazz music was famous.As WW1 went on many americans became to have a hatred of forgieners. Soon the Klu Klux Klan originated which were against blacks. America began to limit the number of forgieners that were able to come into the United States.Air fight was becoming a common thing in the 1920's. Charles Lindburg soon became the most famous pilot. He flew from New York to Paris. Famous sports stars led an intrest into many sports including baseball, golf, and college football.
