Today we reviewed a little bit for our test Thursday. To start the semester we decided to study 1 & 2 first. We’re going to start on a blog about Afghanistan next week. Mr. Bruns changed our blog assignment this week to 10 events instead of 15. Today we also had our first blog discussion. We probably will not be tested on the topics we talked about today. Morganne did her blog on contaminated milk in China, and the melamine they put in the milk gave some people kidney failure. China has 1.3 billion people, which makes them the largest country in the world right now. They have more honor kids then the United States has kids in total. Kara’s topic was about iguanas in Florida that fall out of trees because they’re so cold. Cheryl did her blog on sewage stuff in soda fountains in Virginia. Brittany did her blog on the movie Avatar and how it was #1 for many weeks. Courtney did her blog on Mars and how the U.S. and Europe came together to do a program to send landers and orbiters to go look at it. They’re looking for life. Recently water was found on the moon. Ana did her blog on 3-D televisions. They’re going to be about $200-$300 more than a regular HDTV. I was last to go, talking about my topic on Sen. Reid's comments made twards President Obama.
