Today in class we went over the continents/oceans, again, for the test that’s on Thursday. We figured out what order we are going to learn our major topics in. Mr. Bruns also talked about our weekly assigned blogs. Our weekly assigned blog for this week will be the top ten events for the years 2000- 2009. We also did blog discussions that we didn’t get to on Monday. I was the first one to share my blog. I think I did pretty well on my topic about the contaminated milk in China. Mr. Bruns told me it was well done. Some of the stories I heard from other people were really interesting. Cheryl did her topic on bad bacteria found in water fountains. Kara did her topic on Iguanas falling out of the trees in Florida. I like how Mr. Bruns comments on everyone’s summaries and interacts with us while we are talking about them. Brittany did her topic on the new and popular movie Avatar. We also talked about an article that Mr. Bruns found on the internet about how watching Avatar can make you suicidal. I think this is nonsense and really stupid. The comments on the article are crazy. It’s just a movie! Avatar looks really good and interesting in my opinion. I hope I can get a chance to watch it soon.
