We started out with a write to learn quiz. My topic for the New Deal Project is Agricultural Adjustment Act(1st and 2nd)(AAA) and Critics and failings of the New Deal-Long, Caughlin, Townshend and I'm doing Hewy Long for that one. What was the year the Act passed, what was it about, did it work, give examples of what it did, pictures, and is the organization still around today; answer all those for project. For the people tell about their family, background, why they thought what they thought; answer those and add pictures. They blog topic for this week is to pick something that we're researching already and then blog about it.blog discussionfdic- protected your money in a bank.new deal- fdr set it up to try and get America back up on their feet after the great depression.indian reorganization act- set up reservations and decreased the numbers of boarding schools to try and Americanize the native Americans. The natives were split on their feelings about it; some hated it some liked it and it was like they were moving closer to Americans.Agricultural Adjustment Act- if you reduce your amount of crop then the government would pay you more.John C.- Didn't like how the Americans were being treated so he went against the Dawes Act (putting aside the natives) He was put in charge of the indian affairs, dealt with the indian reorganization act.Social Security Act- People that couldn't work or were retired then they'd still get payed.CCC- helped young men get money, $30 a month but they only kept $5. They did a lot of good work, planted trees to help with dust bowl.Elenor Rosevelt- Married FDR, they were fifth cousins. She was very involved in her husbands precidency.-Breann Lehr
