Today we watched a movie. What made the 1920s exciting? The jazz age was part of the 20’s.It was full of hard work. The changing to electricity from coal was good because it helped produce more.Hennery ford was also during this time and mad the model T. he paid his workers 5 dollars an hour. Curing these days they bought what they could they didn’t buy something that they couldn’t. The car led to drive-in movie theaters. People liked the car because they could go to more places them selves.Later most of the people lived in the cities for jobs and better living live. The wealthy lived in the suburbs.Women loved school because they would go to college and they started wearing loose clothes and didn’t wear corsets because they were to constricting. Electricity helped woman live better.Advertising helped people get new and a lot of people would promote their products. This was mad to convince the people to buy something that they didn’t need. In the old days it took women a long time to get ready in the morning. The advertising helped women.Movies brought something to life. People say that it helped them accomplish something that they didn’t know how to do. In the 1920 it was the most entertaining thing. The stars in the movie were taken as role models.Jazz was a fast and loud. It was mostly made of African Americans. The jazz age was about the hard things going on in their live because they were black. Then the white people also took up jazz and it also went on to radio and records.In 1920 the amendment was passed to stop the drinking. But people were breaking this law like crazy. Most of the people would stay loyal. In 1925 the battle in Daten TN was one of the most well know battles in the U.S.WW1 made fear. The kkk was in this time. These people did not like people that were not like them. So they would punish people.The sports of 1926 were boxing. There was tennis and golf and football. And the most popular sport was baseball with Babe Ruth.A lot of people thought the capotialissem was helping the world.The great depression was to end the movie.I think that this movie was good to watch because it helped me under stand more about the 1920’s
