Today we continued with blog discussion from yesterday, but I was gone yesterday so I did not get that information.
Rosa Parks--amanda blum
-MLKJ helped when the bus incident got huge.
-would not give up her seat on a bus to a white person
James Meredith--shelbie jacobsen
-the first african american to try to get into a specific college
-he went back and sewed the college
-meredith was convicted of a voting right so he was not allowed into the school
-they made an agreement and he could go
-when he arrived, he had to be escorted by people and a riot was started
-he graduated and went on to do different things
-lead a civil rights march, and he got shot but lived
-wrote books about it
I discussed my assigned blog today. It is the same topic for next week.
