Today we started our Democrat vs. Republican debate. We didn’t get to use the computers at all today. The topics we went over were abortion, flag burning, gun control, and environment/global warming. We started discussing each topic by having one side give their thoughts on it and then the other side gave theirs. After both sides told what they thought, we debated and then gave our own personal opinions over the topic. The debate went pretty good today, I think. It was interesting to see what each parties opinions were and to see my classmates personal opinions, even if I didn’t necessarily agree with them on their thoughts. I still am not sure if I’m a Democrat or a Republican, I went both ways on some of the topics we discussed today. Hopefully by the end of the debate I can figure out which party I like best.
