Today in class we were having a review day with Bruns talking to us. First he talked about the blog for this week again. The WW2 project will be coming up soon and we are doing Japan. We need to get at least three sources and research the following:1. How did the Treaty of Versailles impact them?2. What type(s) of government did this country have in the interwar years (1919-1938)?3. How did their leader, that led them throughout WWII, come to power?4. How did this leader change their country (for the better and worse) prior to WWII?5. What were the goals of the leader?6. What was the military strategy of this country in the inter-war years (1919-1938)?7. What role did they play in WWII?8. Who were their allies in WWII?9. How did WWII impact/effect the country?On to the Review:-The Cycle was basically when businesses don’t make money they lay people off so they have no money to buy things so businesses lay more people off.-The First New Deal was aimed at fixing the economy and the Second New Deal was aimed at helping the common people and had all of the alphabet soup.-Relief for the people, Reform the banks and system, and Recover from the depression.-People thought that he was doing too much in areas and not enough for others. They called him Communist Socialist.-The Supreme Court wouldn’t pass his New Deal so he created the Supreme court packing issue.-During the 100 days Roosevelt pledged to get a lot of programs and laws passed.-I need to go through my other document to get all of the people that it helped.-Culture has been omitted.
