Today we reviewed for our map test.. which no one sounded very confident on. :| We started our presentations that we were suppost to do about 3 weeks ago. Matt & Isaac had Dictatorship and Anarchy. Dictatorship is a form of government where one person has complete power over a country. An example is Hitler's Germany. Anarchy is when a country has no one that officially runs it. Examples are France during the French Revolution, Jamaica in 1917, and currently Samalia. Morganne, Shannon & Courtney did their presentation on Absolute Monarchy and Constitutional Monarchy. Monarchy is a form of government where one person has all the power. Examples of rulers in a Monarchy would be Kings and Queens. Absolute Monarchy isn't limited by law. Constitutional Monarchy is limited to a constitution. Saudi Arabia, Brunei, Russia (until 1905), Oman, and Nepal (May 28, 2008) are examples of Absolute Monarchy. United Kingdom, Spain, Thailand, Belguim, and Japan are examples of Constitutional Monarchy. Kara, Ana & I also did our presentation on Direct and Representative Democracy.P.S. - credit to Ana for the examples of Anarchy. My computer was dead during their presentation!
