Today we went over our new blog assignment again. We also were assigned our WWII Project. Brooke is in my group. Our country is Great Britain. We are to research our topic and create either a power point or a video about it. The same rubric used from our New Deal project will be used for this new project. A review game or something new will help you do well on the presentation. We are to research and answer the following about our topic:
1. How did the Treaty of Versailles impact them?
2. What type(s) of government did this country have in the interwar years (1919-1938)?
3. How did their leader, that led them throughout WWII, come to power?
4. How did this leader change their country (for the better and worse) prior to WWII?
5. What were the goals of the leader?
6. What was the military strategy of this country in the inter-war years (1919-1938)?
7. What role did they play in WWII?
8. Who were their allies in WWII?
9. How did WWII impact/effect the country?
We then went over what we need to have to answer these questions. We were given permission to start on the project. It will be due sometime late next week.
Ashley is giving the final New Deal presentation today.
Federal Housing Administration- FHA. Started in 1934. Insured loans for home mortgages. Promised the banks that if the home owner doesn’t pay the mortgage the FHA will pay it for them.
She also talked about sports of the 1930’s but word closed, froze and deleted that info.
