In class today people worked on their project while other people took there quizzes. Whitney and I got Economic Changes we divided them up and these are the things I have to do:Section 3 – tax increases support education1 reason the economy boomed in 1920.the automobile, Herbert Hoover, modern advertising, airplanes, superficial prosperity, installment plans – easy credit**It helped make things a lot cheaper.Today I learned that one reason the economy failed in 1920 was because people decreased using things such as railroads, textiles, and steel. Now, they transportation such as trucks, buses, and private automobiles to get around with. Things that they really used during the war such as mining and lumbering were no longer needed. Coal mining had changed drastically also. This was because of the new forms of energy such as fuel oil and natural gas.I think that it was a good thing that people started using trucks, buses, and their own automobiles, because I think it made our country more modern at the time.
