In Current World Issues today, Mr Bruns told us about the assigned blog we would be writing this week. Its stuff about healthcare and some stuff Obama is doing. Then, we went around the room and talked about the summer events blogs that we wrote last week. We talked about healthcare and economy.Then, we talked about how these pirates from Sumali took over a ship and held the captain captive. It was a really interesting story. I didn't even know there were pirates, besides the ones on Peter Pan. Then we talked about Swine Flu and some of the symptoms you get from it. Bruns told us that 30,000-50,000 would die this year. That is kind of a scary thought but personally i'm not worried about getting it.
