Today we continued talking about blog discussions. Courtney did her blog about the new health care bill and how it might not apply to Congress. Shannon's blog was about Israel. Mr. Bruns then went into a six minute lecture about the conflicts between Israel and the countries that surround it. Morganne did her blog about medical marijuana that is becoming legal in more and more states. Chelsea's blog was about how Russia eliminated 2 of their eleven time zones, taking it down to 9. The Hot, Flat, and Crowed presentations that were supposed to be due this week have now been moved to next Tuesday. The blog for this week will be about the health care reform bill that was just recently passed. The rest of class, we started going over the capitals and countries of the European map.
