Today we are talking about our next project. My group has the U.S. Homefront. Mr. Bruns said that we need to touch on Rosy the Riveter. Now we started to review for the test. Japan reduced it military throughout the 1920's only to build it back up in the 1930's. One positive thing that came from the attack of Pearl Harbor was that it increased Patriotism. We were also lucky that our three aircraft carriers were out to sea. Now we have time to study for the test.
The League of Nations was set up after the Treaty of Versailles. It was a worldwide peace keeping organization. It had two main weaknesses. The weaknesses were that it could not wage war and the United States never joined. The Washington Naval Conference set up main pacts. It was all about reducing naval size. It also kept the Open-Door Policy alive in China.
