Today I looked up the Allies of Japan during World War II. The website, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tripartite_Pact, is the source that I used for looking up the Allies of Japan. The Tripartite Pact was signed by Japan, Germany, and Italy and established the Axis Powers during World War I. Some other countries that The three nations agreed that for the next ten years they would "stand by and co-operate with one another in... their prime purpose to establish and maintain a new order of things... to promote the mutual prosperity and welfare of the peoples concerned. Some other countries that joined included Hungary, Romania, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Yugoslavia, Croatia, and Manchukuo.
I also looked up how World War I affected the country. The website http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e2124.html helped me with this question. This talked about the atomic bomb http://mothra.rerf.or.jp/ENG/A-bomb/History/Damages.html.
