Today we presented our WW2 projects.
Germany:
- How did the Treaty of Versailles impact them? Made them got all the blame for starting WW1, lost 12 to 15% of their land, reduced their armed forces.
2. What type(s) of government did this country have in the interwar years (1919-1938)?When Hitler came to power their made the Nazi party, before then it wasthe Weimar republic, Hitler alsomade the third Reich.
3. How did their leader, that led them throughout WWII, come to power? He cameto power when Von Hindenburg died and he was appointed chancellor
4. How did this leader change their country (for the better and worse)prior to WWII? He made it a dictatorship, Hitler rebuilds the military,got the economy going again, but hetook away the rights of the Jew and destroyed their business
5. What were the goals of the leader? eliminate the Jewish people and getthe back the land they lost due to the Treaty of Versailles, he also wantto create “lebransraum” or living space in Russia.
6. What was the military strategy of this country in the inter-war years (1919-1938)?Improve the use of weapons Blitzkrieg, not fighting in the trenches
7. What role did they play in WWII? The caused most of WWII, their over ranthe countries
8. Who were their allies in WWII? The AXISpowers Italy,Japan, Hungary,Bulgaria, andRomania
9. How did WWII impact/effect the country? It got divided in to fourzones, the Nazi party fell apart.
