Today we were talking about our next project over World War II. My group got the country of Japan. Next we had a study day for the test which will begin on Wednesday. I begin studying for the test at the top of my study sheet. The difference between the first and second New Deal was that the first was aimed at helping big companies while the second was aimed at helping the common people. I also began to look over the deadly cycle of the Great Depression. When Roosevelt was trying to pass the Judiciary Reorganization Act of 1937 many people believed that he was being a communist dictator.
I also started to look over how the New Deal helped out the different groups. For the unemployed he passed the CCC and the WPA. The CCC gave jobs to young men doing construction and fighting forest fires. The WPA gave many people construction jobs it also helped artists find jobs.
