My top 10 Current events of the 2009 year areas follows.#1Obama, Biden Sworn into Office (Jan. 20): On this day hundreds watch as the nations first black president was sworn in. Barack Obama announces his mother-in-law, Marian Robinson, will be living in White House with the new first family, at least temporarily. Robinson has been helping the Obamas with their daughters Malia and Sasha while they have been campaigning and transitioning to the White House.

#2Michael Jackson's DeathIt Shocked the World and yes people are still recovering from it Micheal's Death has been ruled a homicide which means that Jackson died at the hands of another, but does not necessarily mean a crime was committed. some of the quotes from the family are herethis one is from a CNN reporter "I talked to Frank Dileo, Michael's manager. Walter Cronkite was called "the most trusted man in America" during his two decades as anchor of The CBS Evening News.Cronkite was a correspondent for United Press International during World War II, then joined CBS television in 1950 as a reporter. He became the evening news anchor in 1962 and held that post until his retirement in 1981, ending each broadcast with "...and that's the way it is," his television signature.His cause of death was cerebral vascular disease. After guest starring roles in TV series like Blossom and Party of Five, she made her first film debut in Clueless. She died on Sunday, December 20th 2009 after having a heart attack and collapsing in the shower.Los Angeles cops are investigating the 32-year-old's sudden death, but a coroner official said it "appears to be natural."An autopsy is pending - over the objections of her British screenwriter husband, Simon Monjack, who told hospital staffers he didn't want one, according to the gossip Web site TMZ.#7Airplane Crash In Hudson River A plane crashed in the hudson river because of a bird strike damaged the engines. and the pilot declared an emergancy. the piliot expected the plane to flip over and break into peices but it did not.#8Palin Resigned as Alaska GovernorAlaska Governor Sarah Palin resigned on the evening of July 4th. Palin's spokesperson said that this is because she is looking forward to working outside the Government. This shocked Repubicans, but also left the possibility that she will run for presidentin 2012.

Jaycee Ducard now 29 was found when she accompened Phillip Garrido, who has been convicted of kidnapping and rape. They were accompened by two young children and Garrido's wife Nancy.under sherriff Fred kollar Said in a news conference that Jaycee was the mother of the two kids who have been fathered by Philip.
