Today we did like an ITED practice thing.

Then we continued the Pacific War presentation.

-U.S. Chester W. Nimitz and Douglas MacArthur

Great Britain Archibald Wavell and Louis Mountbatten

Japan Hideki Tojo and Kotohito Kan’in

The strategy’s for Japan was that they didn’t fight above ground. They didn’t want the Americans to see them so they fought in like underground tunnels from like houses. They wanted no survivors and they wanted the Japanese to kill 10 Americans before they died.

The U.S. focused on island hopping and they would jump from island to island. They tried to get to Japan as fast as possible and they launch an air attack. They fought by submarine and if they needed to they would invade Japan.

The famous battles were: Pearl Harbor, Iwo Jima, Battle at Midway, Battle of Peleliu, Coral Sea, The Phillipines, and Guadalcanal Campaign.

This was all we had time for so they are going to finish tomorrow.
