Bruns continued his presentation again today.

This was pretty much our blog discussion. Pearl Harbor was attacked on December 7th, 1941. The Japanese started attacking very early on a Sunday morning. They came in two waves, the first dropped bombs and they had fighter planes as well. The second was pretty much the same thing. If they would have come again a third time, they would have completely destroyed us. Then we listened to a speech by FDR about the attack.

Now I guess we have officially started blog discussion. I’m pretty sure that I have already talked and gotten my points.

Japan invaded China, but we still traded with Japan. They invaded French Indo China. We told Japan that if they didn’t get out of Indo China, we would stop trading with them. They didn’t leave so we stopped trading with them.

They said that they would with drawl from China and start peace dealing and they wanted open door policy with everyone and they said that they wanted us to stop with the lend-lease thing to China.

There goals were to destroy their fleet units so they couldn’t attack. They wanted to buy time to position their navy and army. They wanted to put a severe blow to the U.S. moral.
