Obama is trying to get Congress to approve an attack on Syria.

Putin thinks there needs to be better evidence that Assad used chemical weapons.

CULTURE CLAAAAAAASH ON THE PRAAAAIRIEEEEEEEEEE! (great band name!)

The culture clash on the prairie was conflicts between NAs and farmers.

Farmers had to deal with drought.

NAs were angry about the law that said they had to live on reservations.

In 1753 the first colonial railroad was created.

The Baltimore-Ohio railroad was one of the most important.

In 1830 the South Canal and Railroad Company.

The transcontinental railroad was one of the most important.

The final spike was driven on May 10th, 1869.

Farmers didn’t like railroads.

The land the farmers wanted was too expensive because it was close to the railroad.

It was given to the railroads by the government.

Railroads were also too expensive, but farmers.

The grangers were farmers who wanted to protest railroad companies.

Granger laws were laws to regulate railroads.
