They have made six attacks. One was in Yemen, when they tried to bomb a hotel in which American soldiers were supposed to be staying. They were at a different hotel, and none of them died, but six others died. Also, a man tried to bomb the bottom of the first tower of the World Trade Center, and make it fall into the second tower, but it was unsuccessful, but killed about six people. Also, they attacked the USS Coal, a U.S. ship in 2000.War in Afghanistan-Resulted from 9-11, remove the Taliban and go after Al-Qaeda and bin Laden. Took out Taliban quickly, but not Al-Qaeda. Invaded Afghanistan October 7, 2001, and Irag 2003. Bush was in office at the time, he focused a lot on Iraq. We were successful in taking power from Taliban, but eventually people lost hope. Obama and Dems think it is bad to be in Iraq, and to take focus off of Afghanistan and Osama. Invaded Iraq because of weapons of mass destruction.Mr. Bruns also went over the rubic for the Ch. 5-8 project and gave us some great and excellent tips on how to give a good presentation.
