Well, I walked into CWI jamming out to some type of music. I told him that we need to have that every day. So, we will get pumped for CWI now everyday!! haha. Well, we talked about getting Cdub t-shirts. We went over the Asia map. The test is now on Thursday I think. So I should probably start studying more and more each day. We continued with the Iraq blogs. I learned that Suddam Hussein was in power from 1976 to 2003-5ish. They weren't so sure. We talked about my topic, which was we we went to war with Iraq in 1990. The main thing was for oil. I gave my opinion about how Kuwait supposedly took Iraq's oil. I guess it just depends on how much they 'took.' Mr. Bruns told us the results of the Persian Gulf War. I learned that economic sanctions are restrictions put on aggressive countries restricting imports and exports. We have them on North Korea, Cuba, and we used to have them on Afghanistan. The common people are the poeple who suffer from sanctions. We lost 148 soldiers in the war. Iraq withdrew Kuwait. Anyways, there was a no fly zone put on Iraq. That means that Iraq could not do anything military related in their country. There were two planes flying nonstop over the country to make sure.
