At the beginning of class we went over four Ited test questions that took almost half the class. The Cold War was from was from 1945 to 1990. It was a political, strategical, and ideological struggle between the US and the Soviet Union. The term "east" when talking about the Cold War it relates the communist. And "west" is Western Europe and the United States. Democracy is where people ultimately have the final say. Communism is where the government comes first and has alot of power over the people. The government "dominates" the societies. Capitalism is where people run and own their own businesses. Socialism is where the government runs and controls all businesses.

The Tsar System got replaced by the communist party.The Leader of the Communist was Vladimir Lenin in Russia. The Red Scare was between 1917 and 1920. It was caused by the Russian Revolution. The Sedition Act of 1918 was to help campaign against radicals and left wing organizations. It said to not the immigrants come into our country and go against our government. Other causes were beliefs, aim, history, trust and actions. Stalin wanted huge reparation from Germany. US and Great Britain wanted to protect democracy because European states were falling under Soviet control. In 1918, we wanted to destroy the Russian Revolution like we did in the Red Scare. In WW2 the Soviet Union thought we should have helped them more instead of attacking Africa.
