China wanted to get land back but it went to Japan. They did not sign the treaty.

Mao Bigdong lead China's Communist Party became leader after war. Chiang Kai-shek led Nationalistic Party of China led through out the war.

The were just defenses. They didn't really have any. They were at a civil war the whole time.

They were first invaded by Japan and they never left their home country. Japan took over some land until America bombed Japan and then China won it.

Great Britain, France, Soviet Union, USA, Canada, Poland, Australia, these are just a few. They were angry because they never got people from the other countries to come over they just gave china money.

China went to a communism in 1948. Japan devasted China with air raids, mass murders, rape, and some what of a genocide.

-Gerneral Charles de Caulle was the leader of the Free French Forces. He urged French to resist German oppression. He encouraged peopl in Vichy France to resist armistice. He also insisted on Britains and Americas allegiance and support.

-badly damaged, economic conditions were low production rates, inflation from excess money. Pres. Charles de Gaulle. and the Marshall Plan was huge for Europe.

They were hit hard economically. They ened up spending a lot of money due to the war. even though lots were killed, they ares till powerful today( but did go down significantly becuase of the war). the Marshall Plan rebuilt

-aimed at Germany almost specifically.lost their land, lsot their colonies, had to poay 33 billion dollars to GB and France, limited battleships, lost thousands of men

-newly democratic. Adolf Hitler Advantage- took advantage of the democratic(wanted to be a dictatorship, he despised communists, lead public announcments, beleived in one person controlling, where as communism would bring weakness,) single party state state democratic. WEimer Republic/

-He came to power legally and was appointed by the presidnent

-before WWII he reformed the Nazi party, was named the leader of the party. wrote a book called MEIN KAMPF(My struggle) he was the best selling author. Nazis became the second largest group in Germany. He was named chancellor of Germany on january 30, 1933. HE also became the disctator of Germany on March 23, 1933..Adolf Hitler-- was thrown into prison, only gets five years, but only serves nine months. pretty leaniant.. he became a national figurehead during his trial( was on trial for trying to overthrow the government) by the way he talked he got people to buy into his idea.. was told he wasnt the one who actaully wrote the book, he dictated it,.. Hitler was named the cahncellor of Germany on January 30, 1933( Germanys goverment legally became a dictatorship) called himself DERFOUR(the Leader)--

-Hitlers goals- wrote a book about his struggles. he really wanted to make Germany militarily strong again, get back land that was lost during WWI. wanted to reunite German speaking poeple(get them all into Germany again). Also had a wideranged goal of Lebransraum "Living soace" in Russia.

-Stategy was called Blitzkrieg. Literally meaning Ligntning War Far. They had maded the advancement of tanks adn aircrafts (all behind the scenes) .. and also had the surprise and swift attack, going in in the middle of the night and also very quick and fast(swiftly). Germany had all the nuclear activity, and wasnt intersested in it, when the Jewish went off to the United States, luckily for us he didnt realize the power of the nuclear bomb.. the world would be much differently today if they had known.

-Head of the access powers. Hitler made them aggressive. invaded many many countires and took over. invaded some with Soviets, such as teaming up. called allies

-axis-germany, japen, italy, three main), hubngary,m finland, thailand, bulgaria and croatia.

-Great Depression

-was not included in Treaty of Versailles. Treat of Brest- Litvosk with Central Powers signed March 3, 1918 to exit WWII. Nazi- Soviet NonAggrfession Pact was on August 23, 1939 ,which gave SU Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania, Poland was going to split up as well and SU felt safer with this buffer.

-Bolcheviks started in 1917-largest and oldest constitutonal communist led social states. Lenin started the communism

-Lenin had strokes died then replaced by Stalin. Stalin was leader throughout WWII and kept Communism.

-educated people our of jobs and put into work camps, plowing , hard labor. Farmers taken out of fields and into military. In military, youd get input in government but lied. IN hopes to continue communism. Cheaper than bullets.

-Consider power to Centralized Government, COmmunism. INcrease world influence, become world power. Stalin was huge on security, wanted to make sure his country was safe from invasion, so made sure other communist countries surrounded him ( wanted safe borders)/

-Stalin killed anybody that could internally take him over. He protected his borders. And He killed the Generals, "killed" the military.

-major player. hitler wanted to go coast to coast, Soviet Union was just SO huge! ( which is why he couldnt)
