We started out our class today with briefly going over the United States and their capitals. Then we went into continuing our Afghanistan conversation from yesterday. We talked about the 9/11 attack and the Al-Qaeda. They used to be the leaders of Afghanistan and are now terrorist groups. They show a lot of hatred towards us, which is why they have had terrorist attacks on us. The Al-Qaeda despise us in ways that I can’t really understand. They don’t like the fact that we have all this technology and they just really don’t like our culture and the things we are into. The rules over there are way stricter than us. We should be happy to have so much freedom. Since the people there are so poor and sad most of them will join a group where they feel they belong. We are over there trying to help because their government isn’t strong enough yet. If we just left them now and stopped fighting than there could be a chance of a terrorist group taking over the country.
