Today we did our last two presentations. Capitalism is an economic system where the businesses are privately owned. It is the only social system that allows man free to pursue your own dreams. All the countries in the European Union are capitalist. Whenever you buy something some of the product goes to the producer. Socialism is where some businesses are controlled by the government, i.e. the post office, and other businesses. Some time next week we will have our first maples test with Afghanistan, these ones and all the presentations. After the presentations we did the states and capital test and then got to work on our blogs or work on our studying for the Canada test. I chose to work on my blog. I can’t decide if I want to do the smoking bans throughout history or something else in the mean time this is the link to tobacco through out the centuries:
