Today we finished up with our political/economic systems presentations. Trey did his presentation on capitalism which is where people own and run their businesses themselves. Some countries with this economic system are the United States, Sweden, Denmark, Romania, and many others. Another system is socialism which is the opposite of capitalism. In socialism, the government is in control of businesses and it is designed to make people more equal. Most countries have a mixed economy where some businesses are run by people and some are run by the country’s government. Very few countries in the world do not have a mixed economy system. We also took our states capitals test.
