Today, we watched a video called Planet in Peril or something like that. It was a documentary over climate change. One of the stories that they covered was how Greenland is slowly melting, causing the sea levels to rise. There has been a newly formed island because of the receding ice. Polar bears were tied in to all of this because they eat seals that they catch just off of the icy coast, but that coast is disappearing. There has even been evidence of polar bears resorting to cannibalism when the food supply is low. Another story was about how this island was slowly sinking into the ocean, and it's highest point was only five feet above sea level. This wouldn't be so bad, but people live on that island. That's about all the farther we got today.
