WE watched the movie again. The Carderet Islands are just five meters above sea level at the highest point. There are 2000 residents on teh island and they haven't really been given much help. Supplies only come twice a year from a larger Island and it is not enough. Lake chad in Chad is shrinking. Places wehre there was water is now just sand. The weird thing is that the lake has dried up before, but scientist dont think that is the reason this time. Africa is the lowest Co2 emiter but they are the most affected by climate change. The population in Africa is also growing faster than any other place in the world. One of the points in this movie is not really the fact that climate change is happening it who or what is causing it. They find that some of the computer modles over estimating our wworlds heating. Some say that we haven't really looked at teh adaptation to the world and weather by humans and animals. Personally I think that the scientists that say there is no doubt that we cause it don't consider that scientists that were probably "certain" that there was an ice age coming in the early 1900s. The amazon is just a little smaller than the continental united states. 20% of the worlds water is in the amazon, The amazon is being cut down for commercial farm land, cattle ranches, and small scale farming.
