Today I started studying for the test. I looked at why peopled opposed the New Deal. Charles Coughlin believed that workers should be given jobs and FDR was not doing enough to help workers that did not have jobs. Huey Long opposed the New Deal because he wanted to spread the wealth more evenly throughout the country. He thought that Roosevelt just wasn't doing enough to help people. Francis Townsend opposed the New Deal because he thought that Roosevelt was not helping the elderly. Most people criticized the New Deal because he was doing way too much. However these three people thought that they were not doing enough to help the common people.

I next studied how the New Deal helped the Home Owners. The Home Owner's Loan Act helped make sure that peoples homes would not be foreclosed. The Federal Housing Administration stretched out the payment periods for houses. I am going to take my test during ninth hour study hall.
