Thomas Edison

When I hear Thomas Edison, I think of inventing the light bulb. But there was also other things he is known for. In Menlo Park, New Jersey Thomas Edison established the world’s first research laboratory. I guess what I thought of when I heard Thomas Edison was wrong, he didn't invent the light bulb, he prefected it. Then later, Thomas Edison invented an intire system for producing and distributing electrical power.Thomas Edison had 1,093 patents in his name. He also invented the carbon telephone transmitter, which was used in all telephones until the 1980's. He also has many other inventions that I can't even pronounce, ha.
