Wladyslaw Szpilman, is a wealth son of Jewish family during WW2 and a talented piano player. His family knew of the Nazi war with the world but thought that it was going to end quickly and not be anything to worry about. One bay when Szpilman was preparing for a recital, the radio station was bombed. Then he went to the GHETTO, and smuggled guns and almost got caught.After leaving the ghetto he hides in a friends place and then another place where he almost dies from starvation. Then some man named hosenfield found him and learned that he was a pianist and let Szpilman play in his building. Hosenfield is forced to leave but before he does he gives WS a uniform and then later in the movie Hosenfield comes back and Szpilman once again is playing on the radio.
