The invention of the telephone expanded communication around the world. Telephones brought the world closer together because everyone could talk to the people that they wanted without leaving their house. Alexander Graham Bell and Thomas Watson invented the telephone in 1876.As the telephone became more popular, there was a less need for trains and other transportation to the different areas. The phone also helped busnesses a ton. Bussnesses could now use the phone to take orders and talk to clients. I think that the telephone is one of the most important inventions that has ever been invented because now i don't have to walk everywhere.The phone has evolveed so much from the origonal phone in 1876.
