Now, why I want to tell you about the history of the Post- It is simple. Who doesn't like like a randomly shaped piece of paper that you can put almost anywhere!So it all started when really smart people were gathered in a labrortory in 1970 trying to create an awesome adhesive. Well this guy Spencer Silver accidently did the opposite. He created a aweful one. It was so weak it could pull off of almost any surface. People didn't know what to do with the adhesive so they just put it off to the side.Four years later this guy Aruthr Fry was singing in a church choir. He always kept his place in his hymnal with little peices of paper. Everytime he would turn the page one would fall out. Thats when the idea came to him, sticky notes!!! He went with it, he looked around for a weak adhesive. He then added the adhesive to a piece of paper and then, BAM, it twas the birth of the Post-it.Ten years later the Post-It notes became the most popular office supply in the United States. They come in all colors, sizes, shapes, and levels of sticky.Yeah so post it notes pretty much rock!They can be used to hold places, write notes, or even just cover a the inside of a friends car!
