This was a progam put together to help unemployed young adults. The program thought men basic skills that they need to know to get jobs. This progam was in place from 1933 to 1942. This was also part of FDR's new deal. Many of the men that were in this progam unemployment was due to the Great Depression. This group was in all of the states and was also in the territories of Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands.
This was one of the most popular programs of the New Deal. That is due to it helping the general public with economis relief. It served a total of 3 million men. This program was never considered a permanent progam. It was just for temprary program. In June of 1942 the congress took to funds for this program and put it towards the war.
