Whoot, Whoot. Turkey break. The class started by another group presentation. Then, we went into blog discussions.Becka and Justice are finishing their presentation. Basically everyone needs to work together to fix deforestation. Expansion of agriculture, logging, mining, and expansion of industry are causes of deforestation.Poverty is another root cause. Logging..people need trees for paper and houses. Recycling will help deforestation, and be more conscience of what we buy. The blame isn't all on us...the government cuold pass more laws that would help with our earth's problem. 50,000 animals per year are being extinct because of deforrestation. Effect are severe soil erosion, and loss of earth's biodiversity.Bri talked about tuition at one school going up 32%. and kids rallying about it. Jay Leno talked about this, he was like "yeah i think they need to learn" and showed a clip of kids rallying..the posters said "Let us Lern" "We don't wanna pay that Touishun" haha. Funny.
