Okayy, so I skimmed through these sixteen pages we were supposed to read. James Inhofe was talking about the little ice age, then the global warming, then the ice age, and then global warming again. He was putting down the movie, “An Inconvenient Truth”, by Al Gore. He pretty much said nothing is true about Global Warming. Also when we try to help our environment by like using fluorescent light bulbs, the hybrid cars, and just stuff like that, he says that will not work and will be causing a climate disaster.
He says when years pass and global warming has done nothing, that we will be mad and wonder why we have stressed and worried about it and came up with the solution, Kyoto Protocol, when were bigger problems out there. For example, like poverty in the third world countries.
In Part of this he takes a lot of the newspaper quotes from years that passed and shows us that different scientists have told us about upcoming ice ages and global warmings. How there would be starvation occurring and countries would be wiped out, liked Canada.
I think this James Inhofe guy is kinda making fun of everybody. He was saying how the magazine “Time” switched from saying an ice age was going to occur to global warming.
He just needs to let people think what they want and not be a show off and tell everybody what to think.
I mean Its Earth. One time we had snow in February and March, but it was supposed to be sunny and warm. Earth is just like that. Unpredictable. I think if we keep doing what we are, we’ll be okayy. Because were trying to help the environment by trying to nott pollute as much or waste that much energy.
but he did make a good point.
