First of all today we finally got through the final JFK presentation. This was about the Organized Crime Theory. This is about how Oswald might have been forced be mobsters to kill Kennedy. This might have been because Kennedy had been coming down hard on the Mafia. This broke a deal with the Mafia and JFK's father and that would have given them a motive. Also he could have been hired by anti Castro Cubans who didn't like Kennedy after the Bay of Pigs Invasion.Then we moved on to our blogs. First we had 9-11What happened on 9-11: There were 4 planes that were hi-jacked by terrorists. There were roughly 3,000 deaths as 2 planes hit the World Trade Centers and one hit the Pentagon. The fourth plane was retaken but rolled and crashed into an empty field in Pennesylvania. Al-Qaeda was found to be responsible for this. The two towers collapsed and were on fire and many people were trapped or injured trying to escape. We then went to war to get rid of them.Next was the TalibanDefine the Taliban: They came to power in 1996 in Afghanistan. They overtook the government and were the main power in the country. They believed that women were bad and they were to cover the entire body and couldn't leave the house without a escort and they couldn't work outside the home or go to school. They are gaining power and are located in Afgahinstan and Pakistan.
