okayy, so microsoft came out with this new thing called, 'skinput'.
If you put this arm band on, you can make you arm and hand and fingers as a touchscreen!
so by touching your arm or hand, you can send a certain message to the computer or even to your phone.
But you would have to wear that arm band thing for it to work because it picks up the different vibrations and sends that as commands. different parts of your hand and armwould be a different comand. so for instance, if you would tap your arm, it would open your email.
If your busy and you wanna listen to music but dont wanna get your phone or comp. out, you could just use your hand or something and it could open your music app or file. it can also turn it up for you. and maybe in the near future,you could also be able to call somebody, all they have right now is just dialing the number but then you would have to get your phone out to acctually talk, but they are going to try to improve that....
if your a starter on this skinout dealy, you could have the commands project onto your skin too, so its not only a touch surface, but also a touch display.
i think this is really cool! when i came acossed ot, i had to look to see what it was. i dont know if i would use it that often but it sounds amazingg!
