today was only a workday so we can finish our 5-8 projects. over my research i learned that there were two types of groups, the gold bugs and the silverites. the gold bugs were people such as the wealthy, business men etc. the gold bugs wanted to make sure that people could trade paper money in return for gold but that would also lower the value of money. the silverites were people such as farmers and the common people. the silverites wanted to make that money could not be traded for gold which would keep the value of money normal and raise the prices of goods
i learned alot from my research because i would not want to live in that time where money was not quite as valuable as it is today.
