First we talked about the saying "Sticks and stones may break your bones but words will never hurt you". That was proven wrong in a study of high school students. They said that the kids who are picked on get lower grades. I thought that was kind of sad. Then we had more presentations. One was on socalism. I learned that socialism is where the government pretty much owns everything. They take money from the rich and give it to the poor. Also, I learned that capitalism and socialism are opposites.
