We took the the provinces class map quiz today and went over the islands for Tuesday.
Grover Crawford made the holiday labor day a federal holiday and he is the only president to have 2 stars.
We watched a short video on labor day
- In Canada unions were illegal until 1872
- Labor union- is working fighting back for better wages and education in general
- September 5 to celebrate the labor day because of the long break between July 4 and thanksgiving then they moved it to the first day in September
